Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

A rainbow at sunset in late August surprises Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. You should also imagine the full moon rising right around the right end of the rainbow, but the clouds have completed obscured its view. This would be the full "blue" moon in Aquarius of 2021, and the weather that you see has been brought about by hurricane Henri out in the Atlantic Ocean. The full arch of the rainbow frames Fitzwater street and south Philadelphia, the neighborhoods of Hawthorne, Bella Vista, the Italian Market and Queen Village.
I like to use photography as a tool to teach the eye how to look and see things for what they really are as objects, places, and moments in the everyday world.
